Our Story
How a love of cardboard, handmaking, and gifting became Kit of Happiness.
I was always amazed by storytelling — in every possible form — and by the art of making things by hand.
Growing up, cardboard was my closest companion. I'd build anything I could imagine out of it — worlds, contraptions, little gifts. There was something magical about turning nothing into something with just your hands and a little imagination.
As I grew older, that love of making shifted into something else: curating. I found myself putting together little gift boxes for friends and family — carefully chosen things wrapped up with intention. I realised that a gift box, done right, is a story in itself. It says something. It creates a moment.
Kit of Happiness is my way of bringing that enthusiasm to others. The joy of receiving something thoughtfully made. The magic of opening a box that feels like it was put together just for you.
